To Nathaniel Cole Park
Coming from the north (Route 81 South) and from the west (Route 17 East).
Travel either south along Route 81 or west along Route 17 until you come to where 81 and 17 merge in a perplexing confluence of overpasses and exits in Binghamton. Go through all this until you're heading south out of Binghamton along Route 81. Get off of Route 81 on Exit 3 (Industrial Park). Stay in the left lane, as you will be turning left at the light at the bottom of the ramp. You will see a sign for Nathaniel Cole Park (the sign says 8 miles, but it's really only about 7.5). Turn left at the light. You'll immediately pass beneath two bridges and come to a second light. Continue straight through this light. At this point, you have just under 7.5 miles to go until you get to Cole Park. At just over 5 miles along, you'll see another sign for Cole Park. Keep going. You may be confused when you see a Town Park sign on your left, not too far after the second Cole Park sign. Ignore this and keep going. Finally, you'll come to the entrance to Nathaniel Cole Park on your right. Enter along the access road and continue until you come to the parking lots. You'll see a sign that says Shelter 3 (it has an arrow pointing to the left). Turn right at this point and go to the far end of the parking lot. The pitch is there.
Coming from the south (Route 81 North).
Get onto Route 81 North and into New York State. Get off on Exit 2W and cruise for about 1 mile until you reach a traffic light. Take a right at this traffic light onto Colesville Road. Follow Colesville Road, as above, to Nathaniel Cole Park.
