Sons of Liberty...Prepare for Battle!
The 2010 Sons of Liberty Rugby League kicks off the fall season on September 11th...in Cortland for the Barbarians. This is never an easy time, so we need to be practiced, fit, and ready for action come September. In addition to annual tilts with Cortland and Utica, this season we welcome Hartwick and the Elmira Hellhounds to our cozy little league. Check out the schedule and start thinking about rugby...'cause it is upon us!

Barbarians 21st Annual Roadkill 7s Tournament
Well, another glorious tournament day came and went. The Barbs didn't do as well as they did last year, but the Flames team won its division and got to the knockout round. Who knew they'd run into a buzzsaw from Western NY? The Camo team was competitive and unlucky not to defeat the Creamers, but they had a good time and Ritchie touched down his first tries. The weather couldn't have been better (well, maybe a couple degrees cooler) and there were no no-shows. Photos of the action are HERE. We made a lot of money and can now look to the fall season. No news yet on practice times or locations, but stay tuned. In the meantime...

It's that time of the year again...CIPP or don't play. It's only $35 for the year, so along with the $65 everyone owes Longo for their Barbarian dues...it's still less than a lot of teams demand of their players every year. So pony up! The link to the left to the left will get you on your way...
